🚨 Dunedin Junior & Youth Football – Saturday Update 🚨
Due to the significant rainfall today and further rain forecast overnight, a number of grounds are already underwater and have been deemed unplayable.
All Dunedin Junior and Youth Football fixtures scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled.
At this stage, Senior Football will proceed as scheduled, as the Dunedin City Council has not closed the grounds.
Clubs are asked to use their discretion when assessing ground conditions before matches. If a pitch is deemed unplayable upon arrival, the fixture should not proceed and will be deferred.
Travelling teams: Please contact your opposition before departing to check ground conditions and confirm whether the match is likely to go ahead.
